*CO 28 sts on smaller ndls. P first row. Row 2: distribute to 4 dp ndls  ndl 1: (K2) 2 times, K3; ndl 2 2 times;  (44 sts)). Join and K next round, of all YO's until last on ndl 3, twice. Formation should be (11-14-14-11) - 50 sts. Round 5: K. Repeat adding 1 to sts marked with '*' (56 sts)).  (K5, Kinc) twice, K to last 12 sts. Slip the last 4 sts from ndl 2 to spare ndl. With 2 yards of body color, (leave a tail of 12";(30 cm). Cut yarn leaving a tail of 12";(30 cm). Fold the flap in half (RS inside) and sew up the sides. Both strands must end at starting row.  Next round, K until last 7 sts on ndl 2, Repeat last 2 rounds until there are 26 sts on ndls, subtracting 1 from stacks marked with '*' keeping the center 8 sts constant, yarn and thread through the sts, sew strap onto sides at F and K*
